Hi all,
Everyone and his uncle keeps telling me that (all?) local councils have a grant available where they will give 50% towards a new website development costs. Sounds marvellous but I cannot track down anyone at the council or elsewhere who knows about it in my area specifically... I live in Lambeth.
Anyone got any info on this? Apparently "there's a £22M EEC fund to tap into"... sounds great, eh?
Thanks in advance everyone.

it's the business link that normally does it not the council. Try giving someone at your local business link a call.
I tried to get information for a client a couple of month ago but the business link for my area said they'd ran out of money, but you might be lucky.
The business link will probably help you put together a statement of requirements which is given to a designer to calculate a quote, they normally ask 3 companies to quote. You don't have to use one of those 3 companies, you can use anyone who is on the business link service provider.
