Talented entrepreneurs have the opportunity to win £10,000 by pitching the best business idea in an online competition.

The promotion is part of The Big Idea, a TV programme aiming to find the country’s best entrepreneurs, in partnership with Vodafone.

Anyone with an idea they would love to turn into reality is encouraged to submit a two-minute pitch to face a public vote.

The best ideas of the week will be showcased on the programme, More Big Ideas. This valuable exposure will publicise the idea to an audience of potential investors and customers.

The top twenty ideas will be accessible online, and visitors to the website will vote to whittle the finalists down to three. The mentors from The Big Idea, including The Apprentice finalist Ruth Badger, will then chose the overall winner.

The winner will receive £10,000 and further TV exposure on the final of More Big Ideas.

However time is short, as the deadline for the last pitches is November 5.

Pitches can be submitted by phone or post, in person, or through the website. It is strongly recommended that entrepreneurs patent their ideas before submitting them online.
