Hi Guys And Girls,
I thought I'd give some great information regarding something ive noticed recently on google,
I dont have a website but managed to get on the first page of google in a week using this tecnique, I havent tried any other way so if it doesnt work for you then dont qoute me but If you place a services advert on gumtree www.gumtree.co.uk if fact place many ads but with different headers so the header would be what people type in google to find your service or product,
I have tried this with the search term "amazing low cost telemarketing" and low and behold within one week i was at the top of the list below the payed for links,
I thought I'd mention this as there are so many companies taking alot of peoples money the seo when to be honest if you look abit deeper you can find many organic ways of promoting your business for free,
Now like I said I have now idea if this will work for every search term but for the time it takes isnt it woth a gander,

Nice idea but why not have the traffic coming to your site for free?
For uncompetetive search terms like the one you mention with a little basic SEO knowledge you could have your own site ranking no.1 for that search term!

I see your point but to say low cost telemarketing is a non competative search time would be incorrect telemarketing is a very competetive business and for people like me who dont actually need a website I think the concept is a superb way of promoting there services with no outlay,

You were quoting the search phrase 'amazing low cost telemarketing', i wonder how many people search for that term?
I'm not going to do any detailed keyword analysis but i can tell you that for September using Overture (Yahoo), precisely 0 (zero) people searched using that term, you'd also be suprised to know that the same amount searched for 'low cost telemarketing' too, so i am correct in calling them non competetive search terms.
You might not need a website but i'm sure your business could benefit from one.

Hi
Just make a point,Not all companies just take money and offer poor service the SEO's we are talking about, if you find the right people you'll get the traffice you want and u'll find return on Investment as well. You don't need a website at the moment, however if you want to expand in the future i'm sure you'll need one...
Just my thought buddy...

No1 In two months I have had in the region of 30 calls regarding telemarketing that has come directly from people seeing my advertisment on gumtree via there search for "low cost telemarketing" from those 30 calls I have gained new business.
No2. I didnt say seo companies offered a poor service I believe that if people use a combination of ways to gain a presence on the internet they will benefit but as a freelancer who doesnt require a website nor the need for expansion this would be a good if not great way to have a presence.
All Im doing chaps is passing my benefits on to people like myself who dont have a site.

Thats fair enough if it works for you then well done.
Personally i feel a better investment would be a simple 'business card' website, and get it ranking well for that search term.
I tip for anyone wanting to target less competetive keywords, add a link in your signature (edit your profile) and link to your site like this:
Amazing Low Cost Telemarketing
Let see how long it is before that site becomes number 1.........
In my opinion a better investment that any other method.
