Hi,
I have just finished studying Fashion Business at London College Fashion. I have started a fashion business from home but would like to sell my brands in an outlet. Does anyone on the forum have space or know of anyone who has space in their premises they are willing to let as a concession. My products’ age range is 15-30 and also 18-45 in trendy plus size clothes. (Area west London or anyway in the easy travelling distance from Ealing Broadway station)
Regards,
Karen.

You must look for clothing shops who will sell your range. Also look to see if one of the clothing manufactures will distribute for you or a clothing distributer/marketing co.Don't give up keep on knocking, one will open.
Don't tell them you design from home, just give them the address as your design studio

Thank you Brian,
I will continue to knock on doors. I have lots of suppliers and manufactures contacts but lack the funding to get my project moving forward. I am also looking at being a fashion agent as I have lots brands on my books that are looking for a presence in the UK market. It’s another way of financing my future project. (Having a meeting with business link regards to funding and I am also writing my business plan for HSBC)
So, if the is anyone on the forum looking for fashion brands let me know if you need someone to source new trends for you. I currently have 10 Italian brands on my books trendy with age ranges of 15-45.
P/S: Niche fashion business with a twist, business angels wanted and welcomed a presention came be arranged.
Regards,
Karen

YOU SHOULD GO TO ONE OF THOSE SMALL- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTRES, they can help find the finance or direct you in the right direction, I personally do not like credit when starting out, take the orders then make them pay on delivery, as for the material, if your customer is paying on delivery, then negotiate to pay your supplier in 30 days etc. Also can you not start from your garage, or from some part of your house etc... Saves starting cost. Ask the small-buss centre
