An Asian women's organisation has introduced a new programme to support entrepreneurs in the creative industries.

The Dynamic Asian Women's Network (DAWN) has announced the launch of its Creative Entrepreneurs Programme 2005, a three-day course that aims to provide Asian female entrepreneurs with the expertise they need to meet their business targets.

The course will consist of interactive workshops spanning seven business modules, a networking event, mentoring session and reading materials.

The programme is free to applicants who either own a business in the creative industries sector or work for one, or those who are looking to become an entrepreneur in the sector or are seeking to rejoin its workforce. Candidates must also have three years' work experience.

"The DAWN entrepreneurship programme was created in response to the daily pressures producing situations where it is easy to lose sight of the bigger picture for one's new business, whether it is at an early stage or has been around for a while," said Vimmi Singh, programme director at DAWN.

"The programme will provide a fresh and innovative perspective to help take participants' businesses to the next entrepreneurial stage, through sharing quality advice, information and material."
