Hi All,
I got bored one weekend and gathered together a list of around 3000 driving instructors across the country and put them into a database. I knocked together a quick website and it's ranking fairly highly in yahoo!
Try the following searched;
driving instructor bedfordshire (1st and 2nd positions)
driving instructor buckinghamshire (1st and 2nd positions)
driving instructor milton keynes (1st position)
driving instructor luton (1st position)
driving instructor sunderland (2nd Position)
driving instructor darlington (1st and 4th positions)
driving instructor maidstone (1st position)
driving instructor blackpool (1st position)
I could go on, try searching for a driving instructor in your area and see if the site appears.
Anyway, what I'm wanting is a little advice, how can I go about improving the site or the service it offers?
At the minute, if you do a search on the website, it gets the results from the database then mixes them up into a random order. The website will offer a service which will allow a driving schools listing to always appear at the top of their chosen areas, with a web link and email.
I know this isnt an original idea, and infact, it was only meant to pass a little time, but I somehow managed to get some great positions on yahoo, so now I'm wondering if I can do anything with the site.

Hi Littlened,
I've got a proposition for you. How about while you are amending the website and developing it into a proffesional online resource, you give me the opportunity to spend time trying to find advertisors for your website. If/when I find an advertisor I will get a quote and inform you. If you are happy we can accept it and split the profits, such as you receiving 75% and me 25%. I reckon this could be worth up to £300 a year if played correctly. What do think?

It sounds like a reasonable proposition.
I'm going to add an administation section to the website first before I try and look for any advertisers. It'll help me be able to easily add banners that appear either nationally or when a visitor searches a specific area.
I'll drop you an email in a couple of days once I've sorted all this out, then we should be good to go.
