Hi all,
Im after a bit of information if anyone can help.
Basically my wife has been very unhappy at her job for several months, she currently working part time for a large bank in debt recovery while looking after our 2 year old and has now decided to quit and set up her own business.
My wife has previous experience of priovate home cleaning and is looking at launching her own company offering these services on a commercial & private basis. she's looking at targeting letting agencies, offices and private homes. However, she has no idea how to approch the commercial customer and what kind of pricing structure to put in place.
Are there any people out there who have any inside knowledge of the commercial side of cleaning and also the best ways to sort out competative pricing that can offer any advice please???

I'll be glad to help you out on the same now how do you set pricing for your services the cost fo a service will include Total Cost + Profit = Price of a product or service. Now you need to find out what are the cost involved when you offer the service to your customer like the products used for cleaning the the labour per hour or day the papaer work it involves like billing catalogues you give out and so on then your profit. All put together is pricing. Now the best way for you to find out this is make a small search in the area of the people who do this kind of business ask them for a quote and don't mind spending money for the 1st time inviting a competitor to come and do a similar work for you don't let him know that you are going to start the same business, though. Once you compare all costs in the area see how much you can reduce on the same and how you can offer it with utmost quality. people want to pay less however for a good quality service. I can also help you out to reduce cost on certain things. You can also print flyers, business cards, posters, stickers for your promotions. Now this is the best time to start the business coz people will give you the order as they want their houses clean for christmas and newyear and offices close for the xmas and newyear so when they return they will want it cleaned again. its a good season to make your money, then why do you want to wait go ahead....
