I would write up a business plan, this is very important in order to iron out your idea, financial projections, the type of investment captial you need and investors or potential angel investors/micro lenders will be more willing to lend you money if you have a solid business plan. If you do not know how to write one, there are lots of templates on google that you can download.

Also do you have patents? This is essential if you are developing propriatary technology.

We already have a patent in place that covers the USA and Canada. Our business plan is done and the people who have reviewed it all say its a very good plan, but we still can seem to attract the funding we need.
