Hi Chaps,
What I want to know is how can I become an ISP?
I have looked on google but they keep throwing up USA providers & they won't provide the UK.
Any advice please.
Thanks

Depends on what you want, if you want to become a virtual internet service provide there are many UK companies some charge setup fees, others dont ...
Able VISP
Net Benefit
If you are looking to start on a bigger scale with higher profit margins i suggest looking at companies that offer reseller services on inidivual products such as Tiscali and Hot Chilli

I to have been looking to set a a visp there a quite a few when you have a good look around. But the problem is that most a way to expensive and don't offer room to grow. But i did find one company that seemed ok. There set up is just £300 for a visp and unlike almost all the other providers if your customer base starts to grow you can buy access to a bt pipestream witch is like using Bt wholesale but without the massive up front costs (the big company's like tiscali virgin etc buy there broadband this way) amberbroadband.com

New Guy,
I can recommend a company called entanet www.enta.net
There is no up front setup fee. There is no minimum order. You can set the price. They can do billing if you don't want to etc etc. They have very competitive products (for example we are currently selling up to 8MB broadband for £19.99 with a 330GB allowance and FREE migration: http://www.falconnet.co.uk/asp/broadband.asp
, and you can also re-sell business as well as consumer connectivity solutions. They are backed-up by a good bunch of guys and systems.
Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss them further : rupert.englander@falconnet.co.uk
Cheers,
Rupert
