Hi All,
Can you suggest an effective strategy in approaching wholesale businesses? I want to target about 300 wholesale distributors in the UK offering them my products. What is the effective strategy?
Sending samples (as gifts or to be returned?), catalogue, cald calls, telemarketing campaign? What works best and will most likely convert my marketing money into orders?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Helloo Marek,
Hope you having a good day.
Firstly, when it comes to approaching wholesale businesses or customers in any kind of business you need to know approach the right contact so that the information you send does not go waste or reach the bin.
To beging with, Telemarketing would be the initial approach where you get a better understanding of what the wholesalers are looking for and to get information on the right contact.
Once you do that, gift samples and catalogues could play a role in getting your product further and then again you could use telemarketing to follow up on the same.
I work for a company called Infotronics Pvt Ltd (www.infotronics-uk.com) in South India and we specialize in B2B and B2C telemarketing services. You can have a look at the website to know more about services.
If we interest you, you can get back to me and we will take it to the next level.
Cheers!!
