Hi guys,
I know I have asked this question before in a more broard way but this time I am looking for any specific wholesalers that supply baby products.
The products I am refering to are everyday items like lotions, shampoos, cream, wipes, nappies and alike and not the larger items like cots, prams etc.
I have looked on the firstwholesaler and uktrader sites but tou have to register in orfder to see all available products which costs a fee and as I am on a very tight budget for my setup cannot really afford this.
So does anyone who deals with wholesalers on a reg babsis know of any that have a free to view website where I can research prices and delivery times etc...
Thanks for your help
Matt

Sorry to pour water on your post, but if you are unable to afford to buy a catalogue, then you aint gonna get a business going.
I get these every day, no one will carry stock in a new business (mostly internet) , can I send it direct, sorry, NO, I am the wholesale man you are the retail man, I invest, and you invest in stock, we all sell, re invest and that makes it all go round and round. If I weanted to sell direct I would open a shop and a retail web site.
Sorry [

Hi 'guest',
I didn't say I couldn't afford to order and hold stock my friend, quite the opposite when I come to start trading as I have captial behind me.
If you read my post carefully I said I didn't want to keep registering to wholesale sites at £20 a time only to find they do not stock the products I need.
I wanted a wholesale site that I could browse products without registering to the site and then if they stocked the items I need I could purchase from tem. No need for them to send products direct to my customers because I need all products coming to me first.
So if you run a wholesale site maybe you could forward me your URL and we could do business, if not, next time READ before you reply!

Hi,
I totally agree - I am setting up and am always looking out for new suppliers/wholesalers. I have also looked at these sites which require upfront payment before you can view what they have to offer,
and I have to say that I too refuse to pay only to discover that they don't have what I am looking for - VERY FRUSTRATING and, I think, a wee bit cheeky they are basically getting money for nothing.
There was one I think mentioned on here where the suppliers bid against each other, but you have to pay first and what if they didn't have the right suppliers??

Theres a big difference between able to afford things and wasting money. Just because the money is available it doesnt mean its there to be squandered :-)
I think what Matt is trying to say is that he has money, but wants to spend it wisely in the areas that will benefit his business the most.
