The greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection, has signalled a potential expansion of its business by appointing two new business development managers.

The appointments are initially intended to strengthen the support given to the company’s existing network of franchisees and helping them achieve increased revenues from their businesses.

The new appointments, Gillian Herdman and John Coe, will be drawing on significant experience in sales as well as knowledge of the franchise industry to support the company’s existing franchisees.

However, potential franchisees will take note of the announcements as a possible sign of new opportunities to come.

Card Connection’s senior business development manager Dave Galvin claims that the company’s network turnover is currently more than £12 million.

The success is down in large part to the standard of the franchisees, as well as the franchisor’s support, according to Galvin.

“We are well aware that the ability of our franchisees to be successful and grow their businesses is not only down to their own hard work and drive but also to the ongoing support they receive,” said Galvin.
