Does anybody know of any decent sites where freelance Virtual Assistants can look for projects and work?

Hi,
Try www.freelancers.net, the site looks very comprehensive, you can search for jobs and projects - Good luck

My experience with freelancers.net is that every post is responded to by many visitors. Unfortunatelly with the current climate for every person that provides a realistic price/ quote for services, there is always 2 others that will do it for next to nothing or in some cases free.
But saying that I do know of people who have recieved work from it.

In my experience the www.allfreelancework.com site has a lot of scams on there, and I agree with the above posting about freelancers.net, I have no experience of Elance but it does look busy.

I have used all of them, I have had no response at all from allfreelancework.com, I have received two jobs from freelancers.net and one of them is an ongoing client with monthly work coming from them.
Projects can be gained from elance and there is plenty of them posted, but I believe unless you are willing to put alot of money into being a select subscriber, and ensuring u have lots of verified credentials and references, it will take a long time to build a reputation and you will need to bid very cheaply in the interim.
