I'm after some business advice from the startups collective....
My wife and I are looking to start up a business (business services), can anyone provide any real world advice on which structure would be best - tax, legal protection etc. I was thinking of a limited company, but would a partnership be better, as its not like we are strangers...?
The idea is that my wife would effectively run the business to get it going and I would then join the business on a day to day basis at a later date when it is financially viable. We expect that year one turnover is around £70k - £90k, costs are fairly low as the office will be at home for the first year.
Also, does anyone have any experience of some of these online register your business for you companies? It would seem that you can get a business registered for around £80, whereas if you get a solicitor involved to do this it can cost much more....
Cheers,
