Hi everybody!
I need a piece of advice.
I have a friend in Ukraine and he is going to start up a company that will be engaged in Computer Service (system and laptop repairs, system upgrades, data recovery, etc). It will be aimed at people with average disposal income. Actually he has already launched his project, posted in many places advertisements. But the thing is that he aimed at a small segment (only one district) and he hasn't got any phonecall yet.
Do you think that he has to abandon this idea or pay more attention at promotion (he hasn't got enough capital) or wait for a while untill he gains more capital. How to attract customers and make this business develop.
Hope that you guys will help me.
Cheers:-)

When a good service is advertised in the paper without response, it can mean 2 things: bad ad, or people don't want the service. I guess there could be a third in that the ad is too small to attract attention.
I would (and have done) hand out/deliver a snappy leaflet which you can do yourself for little cost. Don't give up - it happens to us all!!
Cheers, Nigel

Thank you a lot for your reply!
I don't think that those people dopn't need that service. Lots of them have computers that often break or whatever. People are often sceptical about something new and it is a huge problem to make them believe that they won't be deceived and get the right service
I absolutely agree with you that it would be very good to hand out leaflets. That guys should think about that. And maybe you are right. The ad was really small. And the main problem is the lack of money.
Cheers:-)

Hi all
Thank you, my dear Kat for posting about the idea!
Lack of money isn't a problem. The aim is to press crowds of single PC-helpers...
How to do it? - to make clients think service of the company is better and more reliable.
And to spam with ads much more of city districts...
