Wannabe company owners will be given a helping hand with going it alone at this year's Business Startup exhibition.
Now in its 5th year, the bi-annual event at the NEC in Birmingham provides aspiring company owners with advice on setting up a business.
Existing owners can also find help with growing their venture at the free show which features more than 180 exhibitors and several seminars.
Show director Nick Moss: "Business Startup is recognised by both government and private enterprise as an invaluable source of advice and new business opportunities
"Literally tens of thousands of people have chosen to visit the show over the five years it has been running, and many successful new entrepreneurs have benefited."
On both days of the event, 3 and 4 June, Liz Jackson, winner of the Women Mean Business Award, will conduct keynote seminars.
Jackson launched her firm Great Guns Marketing in the living room of her flat with just £5000.
Six years on, the company turns over almost £2 million a year.
During the seminar, she will explain how to manage and motivate staff and discuss the importance of humility and leading by example for business owners.
"Above all, if you are to run a successful business you will need to overcome barriers in order to beat your competitors," she said.
