I am going to start a wholesale business next month and the business will be set up as a sole trader. I am now preparing the letter head and other forms(invoice and receipt), is it necessary that I have to show my full name as the proprietor in my letter head and forms? Could anyone give me advice on that? Thank you.

Linda,
As a sole trader, you need to give your trading name, full name and address and contact details only.
If your real name is the trading name, there is no need to put it twice.
ie if you are "Linda Bloggs, wholesalers" this is fine. If you are trading as say "Super Wholesalers", and this is your logo, you really need to put "Linda Bloggs, trading as Super Wholesalers" somewhere (normally the foot) of your headed paper so it is clear who your customers are dealing with.
I hope this is of help to you,
