I need the low-down as to which to use, which is safer and which has a claim guarantee (as the seller won't accept anything else and their prices are much better than EU prices). It's a distributor located in Nigeria.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

If you are wiring money to Nigeria I would be very, Very, VERY careful.
I understand you want to be covered and I am afraid I cannot help with particular advice on how to do this, but what I would say regarding the fact that the prices are cheaper than in the EU - sometimes if things seem too good to be true - they usually are.

I agree with the previous poster...
I did some work for 2 small manufacturers in Plymouth a while ago.
They were buying raw materials from Nigeria, the company insisted on payment via electronic transfer, the materials never arrived the phone number turned out to be a mobile, the website a very good scam.
Since then I have heard that the scam was Europe wide, I am not emplying that the people you are dealing with are, but unless you have been there to the companies offices / warehouse etc i would not part with any hard earned
Best wishes to all at this great time of year.
