NatWest announced it has joined the Franchiseek Global Alliance Network.

The bank becomes the sixth UK supplier affiliated with the British Franchise Association to join the Network, a division of international franchising website www.franchiseek.com, and is its 14th overall member to date.

“The importance of the internet for franchisors and people looking for a franchise has been increasing in recent years and I am delighted to have joined this network,” said Mark Scott, of NatWest.

NatWest’s Franchise Section facilitates the lending of millions of pounds to help aspiring entrepreneurs start their own franchised businesses through its network of Area Franchise Managers.

Managers are based at local NatWest branches and business centres and have been trained in franchising matters and are kept abreast of industry trends and changes.

Trevor Hart, managing director of Franchiseek, said: “I am delighted and honoured to welcome NatWest to the Franchiseek Global Alliance Network. Their knowledge and expertise of the UK franchise industry will be a valuable addition to our growing franchise support network.”
