Hi All,
We are involved in a project and as part of it have to carry out some research on what new products people would like to see on sale at their local convenience stores. Any suggestions or help please...

Just to clarify it is product suggestions i.e what sort of promotional gifts would people like to see i.e. torches etc

Just to clarify - Are these items that you want to know about to be sold in the shop or to be given away as promotional gifts ?

The supermarkets have that pretty well covered I think. Sweets and magazines are the most popular of course.
In other countries they put a little fridge at the end of the check outs so people can buy cold drinks on the way to the car. That works well too.

Right I think this will point us in the right direction.....could be wrong! You want non food products that would sell in convenience stores. For me a flashlight is the kind of thing that sells anywhere...rather than buy batteries you just get a new one that has them included...or even better how about the ones you shake, solar type or dynamo type (wind up). I think you need to look at things that people need immediately or something neat that people can't just walk past without buying! Don't know what though!
