Hi,
My business, Wax Sensation, is not a Ltd. company or registered for VAT. It is a partnership.
As I am not VAT registered, when do I need to send in tax returns?
Will Inland Revenue send me a form to fill in?
Thanks
Chris Naylor

Chris,
If you started trading any time after April 2003, your first period will be to 5th April 2004.
You (or whoever the appointed partner is) will need to do a partnership return. This then provides the figures for your own self assessment.
Assuming you are registered with the IR you will get the forms through the post.
The key dates are 30th September 2004 if you want the IR to compute the tax, 31st Jan 2005 if you or your accountant computes the tax.
As I have said a number of times before, it is helpful - especially in your first year - if you start the process early in the year (May, June, July time) if you are looking for assistance.
If you would like some help, please let me know.
